Indian River emerges as “The Difference Maker” for Egyptian broiler breeder market
CAIRO, Egypt. – Indian River® distributor TIBA showcased the broiler breeder’s valuable benefits to the Egyptian marketplace at the 19th annual Agrena International Exhibition for the Management and Production of Poultry, Livestock and Fish, July 13-15, in Cairo. Owned by major parent stock companies Ayyad Poultry and Eidessoky Group, TIBA is Indian River’s exclusive distributor in Egypt, and this year marks the first time that TIBA has exhibited at Agrena, the largest poultry show in the Middle East.
TIBA made its debut at the show with a large booth, showcasing the high-quality Indian River broiler breeding stock and welcoming a great gathering of poultry professionals from Egypt and beyond. Mohsen Ganjaei, Indian River commercial and product support manager, Middle East, Africa (MEA), was on hand to offer his support to TIBA and engage in discussions with TIBA customers and other show visitors.
“The Difference Maker” in Egypt
Indian River is an exceptionally robust bird with strong environmental tolerance. This quality, coupled with excellent feed efficiency and breast conformity, has earned for the brand a reputation among broiler growers across Egypt as “The Difference Maker.” Part of the Aviagen® family of primary poultry breeding stock, it is the fastest-growing brand in Egypt, capturing more than 20 percent of the domestic market in only a few years.
TIBA’s advancing market share
Since TIBA made its introduction into the Egyptian marketplace with its initial grandparent (GP) placement in 2013, it has broadened its market share and multiplied its placement of Indian River GP to 38,000 per annum.
TIBA continues to widen its investment in Egypt to keep up with a consistent strong demand for Indian River breeding stock. In September, the company will break ground on new GP farms and a hatchery to support the anticipated business growth.
First-class customer commitment
Not only has TIBA heightened its production volume in a relatively short period of time, but it has also increased and fortified its support team to provide excellent service to its expanding customer base. TIBA’s commitment to providing first-class customer service and investing in business expansion will help secure the distributor’s success as its advances the Indian River brand forward in the Egyptian breeder and broiler market.
“Indian River has become one of the strongest players in the Egyptian Market in only a few years through dedicated customer service, excellent management and training programs, coupled with the best breeder and broiler package available on the market,” explains Ganjaei.
Amre Aly, CEO, Tiba, said: “We would like to thank Aviagen for appointing us as exclusive distributor for the Indian River brand to bring choice and added value to the Egyptian poultry industry.”
